  • Specify transport mode (driving/walking/cycling) — don't assume
  • Include units (km/miles, minutes/hours)
  • For POI search, specify radius (don't return results 50km away)

  • Don't assume transport mode — ask if unclear
  • Don't return coordinates without context (always include place name)
  • Don't ignore rate limits (1 req/sec for geocoding)
